The expert council of Voronezh State University announced the results of the competition for grants for researchers and teachers in the category “The best electronic training complex of the basic educational programme”. The electronic voting of the members of the council showed that among the winners of the competition is the electronic training complex developed by Associate Professor of the French Philology department Svetlana Bulgakova and the first year Master’s student of the Faculty of Romance and Germanic Philology majoring in Language Education Oleg Borisov. This is the electronic training complex “The practical course of the French language (project tasks)”.

The international Teacher’s day
On October 6th, 2015 the first year Master’s students of the Faculty of Romance and Germanic Philology majoring in Language Education together with their teachers — members of the working group of the project TEMPUS “Developing the Teaching of European Languages: Modernising Language Teaching through the development of blended Masters Programmes” (544161-TEMPUS-1 -2013-1-UK-TEMPUS-JPCR Aston University) celebrated their professional holiday, the International Teacher’s Day. For these students of the educational programme “Teaching languages with the use of online technologies” the day became a most memorable event as it marked their dedication to the profession of a language teacher.

After opening on 1st September 2015 the Master’s programme “Teaching languages with the use of online technologies” at the Faculty of Romance and Germanic Philology, the teachers working with the first group of master students continued their activities in the framework of the project “Developing the Teaching of European Languages: Modernising Language Teaching through the development of blended Masters Programmes” (544161-TEMPUS-1 -2013-1-UK-TEMPUS-JPCR Aston University). The first group of students on the master’s programme “Teaching languages with the use of online technologies”
On the 1st September 2015 the first ten students began their studies on the master’s programme “Teaching languages with the use of online technologies”. The programme is delivered at the Faculty of Romance and Germanic Philology in cooperation with the Department of Education and Educational Psychology of the Faculty of Philosophy and Psychology. The field of this Master’s programme is Language Education.

In the academic year 2015-2016, Voronezh University announces the start of the new master’s programme “Teaching languages with the use of online technologies”.
The programme is delivered at the Faculty of Romance and Germanic Philology in cooperation with the Department of Education and Educational Psychology of the Faculty of Philosophy and Psychology. The field of this Master’s programme is Language Education with the degree of Master of Education.
Visit of Dr. S. Garton to Voronezh
