Professor of the English Philology department Lubov Tsurikova, Associate Professor of the English Philology department Elena Chaika, and Associate Professor of the German Philology department Marina Shcherbakova took part in the training seminar for the members of the consortium held at Freiburg University of Education, Germany from the 12th to 25th January, 2015.

During the seminar the participants identified the themes and contents of the modules within the structure developed in the framework of the master’s programme «Teaching languages with the use of online technologies» and developed the basic principles of the organisation of students’ independent work in a virtual learning environment.

 

The participants of the seminar also formed the working groups which included representatives of the ten universities of the consortium, and named their leaders responsible for the development of teaching modules and selection of thematic content. Elena Chaika headed the working group of the main module of the programme “Technologies and language learning”.
