Dr. Sue Garton

Since 2000 Dr. S. Garton has been working at Aston University (Birmingham, UK) as the Director of postgraduate programmes in English and Senior Lecturer at the Department of Applied Linguistics (TESOL). Dr. Garton’s research interests are in the areas of language teacher education, particularly teacher beliefs, classroom discourse and language-in-education policy and its implementation. Dr. S. Garton is a series editor of a book series called International Perspectives on ELT published by Palgrave Macmillan, the Chairman of the Committee of TESOL on research in the field of language teaching methodology.

Dr. habil. in Philosophy, the Director of the Regional Institute for International Cooperation of the Tyumen State University, coordinator of nine Tempus projects, a member of the expert committee of the European Commission on the assessment and selection of applications for Tempus and Erasmus Mundus projects, a visiting Professor at Albert-Ludwig University of Freiburg (2010-2011).

Dr. habil. in Biology, Professor, Vice-Rector (Research and Information) of the Voronezh State University, Head of Genetics, Cytology and Bioengineering Department. Prof. V. Popov is the author of more than 200 articles in Russian and international journals, including 5 monographs and more than 40 articles, referenced in the Web of Science database.
