During the seminar, the working groups, comprising members from all ten partner institutions (Russia, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, the United Kingdom, Germany, and France), finalised the methodological content of the module materials within the structure developed in the framework of the master’s programme «Teaching languages with the use of online technologies». The Chief Project Coordinator Dr. Susan Garton (Aston University, Birmingham, UK) found the results of the work successful. The materials of the working group “Technologies and language learning” headed by Elena Chaika were considered to be the most informative and practice-oriented.
During the visit to Uzbekistan cooperation agreements with Uzbekistan State University of World Languages (Tashkent) and Samarkand State Institute of Foreign Languages were also signed. During the meetings with the rectors of these institutions specific issues for enhancing cooperation were discussed; among them the implementation of joint research projects, joint publications in journals, academic exchange of students and teachers of the partner institutions.
