On the 1st September 2015 the first ten students began their studies on the master’s programme “Teaching languages with the use of online technologies”. The programme is delivered at the Faculty of Romance and Germanic Philology in cooperation with the Department of Education and Educational Psychology of the Faculty of Philosophy and Psychology. The field of this Master’s programme is Language Education.
These first students on the programme are the graduates of the Faculty of Romance and Germanic Philology of Voronezh University who received their Bachelor in Linguistics degrees in 2015: Irina Akamsina, Galina Alekseeva, Oleg Borisov, Marina Dudina, Elena Esikova, Anastasia Novikova, Victoria Novikova, and Yulia Shaposhnikova, as well as the graduate of the Faculty of International Affairs of VSU Anna Berdar and the graduate of the Belgorod State University Ekaterina Gordeeva.
In the first semester, the students will continue to learn three foreign languages (English, German, and French), and study such disciplines of the curriculum as “Current issues of Pedagogy”, “Modern concepts of language education”, “Regional studies”, “E-learning system Moodle” and others.
The teachers working for the Master’s programme – members of the working group of the project TEMPUS “Developing the Teaching of European Languages: Modernising Language Teaching through the development of blended Masters Programmes” (544161-TEMPUS-1 -2013-1-UK-TEMPUS-JPCR Aston University) wish the students all possible success in the hard work ahead of them for the degree of Master in Language Education.
