The Implementation of Moodle e-learning platform (Training Seminar)

Voronezh State University hosted Tempus team members from Uzbekistan State University of World Languages (Tashkent), Samarkand State Institute of Foreign Languages, Yaroslavl State Pedagogical University, and Tyumen State University for the period 15th-17th December, 2014 within the framework of Tempus Project “Developing the Teaching European Languages: Modernising Language Teaching through the development of blended Masters Programmes”. The aim of the visit was to participate in the training seminar, lectures, workshops and classroom observations and collect fact finding materials.

During the sessions of the seminar “The implementation of Moodle e-learning platform” held by the Director of the Centre of electronic educational technologies Aleksandr P. Tolstobrov, the principles of effective use of computer as well as on-line technologies in teaching process and the ways of realisation of educational process on the base of MOODLE e-learning platform were presented to the participants of the seminar. They also had practical classes with Moodle e-learning platform and a discussion on the use of on-line technologies in educational process and distance learning.

The final meeting of the training seminar was held under the leadership of Prof. Natalia Fenenko, and the results of the seminar were summed up and further tasks and perspectives of the project work were planned. At the end of the closing session all members of the working group were awarded certificates of participation in the training seminar.
