According to the programme of the training seminar, the project Tempus participants discussed the features of education systems in Germany, Russia, Ukraine and Uzbekistan. Professor Dr. Olivier Mentz spoke in detail about the education system of Germany, paying more attention to Baden-Wuerttemberg located in Freiburg. The project participants from Russia (Yaroslavl Pedagogical University, Tyumen State University, Voronezh State University), Ukraine (Kyiv National Linguistic University, Mykolayiv National University), Uzbekistan (Uzbekistan University of World Languages, Tashkent) made presentations of language teacher training in their regions.

In addition, the trainees observed classes at Freiburg University of Education. The lecturer of the University Vivian Mallory Schwartz made a demonstration of ILIAS on-line training platform used in German universities for delivering distance learning courses.
