Participation in the events at Universite de Caen (Basse-Normandie, France)

From 8th to 13th June 2014 Vice-Rector for Research and Information of Voronezh State University Prof. Vasily Popov and Dean of the Faculty of Romance and Germanic Philology Prof. Natalia Fenenko were in Caen (Basse-Normandie, France), where they took part in the events organised within the framework of the project TEMPUS (Developing the Teaching of European Languages: Modernising Language Teaching through the Development of Blended Masters Programmes — DeTEL).
The programme of the visit included:
- familiarisation with the experience of Universite de Caen Basse-Normandie on the use of new information technologies in language teaching;
- participation in seminars and round table talks on the use of new information technologies in master’s programmes; as well as discussion of the concept of master’s programmes with the representatives of the universities of Russia, Ukraine, Uzbekistan and the coordinator of the TEMPUS project from Universite de Caen Prof. Pierre Larrivée;
- visiting the University Language Research Centre CRISCO.
During the visit, Prof. V. Popov had a meeting with the scientists of the Institute of Molecular Biology of Universite de Caen and discussed the possibilities of academic cooperation between Voronezh State University and Universite de Caen Basse-Normandie.
